hey ya all......I'm ravi...a design student in NIFT....2de wz ur show in our college.....and i was just..that i can't describe. you all r really doin wonderful job. Really, i luv and appreciate those people who know their roots and luv their own things instead of blindly acceptin alien things. Being a youngster i really appreciate your effoets n may God n ur efforts take u all to that place you every single second dream of. it was such an awesome experience wid u guyz. The best thing i noticed that u guyz appreciate our diverse culture and performed in so many languages and i really loved the "BIHU" thing. I tried to do those luvly steps of Bihu over there, but.....leave it. I even tried it at my place but again the same thing. Icouldn't.

I hate those people who claim 2 love their culture but are actualy regionalist and their own region-obsessed. They don love our diversity. I even hate those people who don luv Indian cinema n music but will die for every damn hollywood cinema n western music.

And it was such a delight...n thank God, such people from our gen who love their culture and work 2 improvise its global standing, r still alive.

n guyz I cn appreciate u all n cheer up...I can't contribute at all. i m in so called a creative college...but ven it comes 2 music, my gray cells go numb. really i can do some lyrics but nt dat proffessional level wala.....anyways...good going guyz.....I really xpect u on chartbusters in comin yrs.

I heard your scintillating music in ABAH. The album is a must have especially for us who have left the city of Joy a decade ago. Just wanted to request whether you can belt out something that can talk of children who were born and briught up in Kolkata and thereafter forced to change co-ordinates ao as to make a career. You may talk about summer vacations, Pujas, Anandamela, Kali Puja, Cricket on the roads with friends, nature and anything and everything that you like so as to bring out the life. In contrast you can talk about the emptiness that accompanies them while they make their career-graduation. PG, work, earning, savings etc. And they return albeit for a brief period only when their near and dear ones are no more and life is not the same again. Trust this is growing up!

I could have written more but I leave it to better hands for justice.

6th evening at Opus with Aurko live was easily the best evening I have had at Bangalore. I have seen Aurko playing on earlier occasions and boy! they are tonnes of dynamite. And Opus cdnt have offered a more perfect setting.

And then I saw my 6-year-old daughter joyfully swaying to the timeless and amazing rhythms of R D Burman compositions that evening. I cdnt help but think at the absurdity of the argument put forward by our rulers...that live band venues are dens of obscenity and hence there comes a need to suppress the most joyous form of human expression - music and dance.
